What is GoldMind?
GoldMind is a mindfulness tool that will enhance your ability to reflect. It was designed to help you be more aware and intentional about the things that matters most to you by guiding how you write and therefore think about them. GoldMind doesn’t provide any “quick easy solutions” to the challenges in your life. Instead, GoldMind will direct your introspection in relation to both the hard and the happy parts of your life in ways that empower you.

GoldMind is an easier, more focused way to journal. Instead of a blank page, GoldMind provides writing exercises to guide you towards more empowered thinking and helps you mindfully process your emotions. The Exercise Library in GoldMind has many prompts designed to facilitate meaningful reflection in various areas of your life such as a relationship with a significant other or a child, mental health, gratitude, goals, habits, and much more.
GoldMind’s scheduling framework helps you to focus on different topics throughout your week. Each day you can engage with powerful questions and prompts that guide you into deep, meaningful introspection for whatever topics you’ve scheduled to write about that day. This customized writing routine you create will ensure that each day of the week you’re dedicating the necessary reflection time to your top priorities, with multiple exercise options to choose from each time you write about a given topic.
GoldMind is a mindful note-taking app. It was designed specifically for capturing meaningful thoughts, ideas, quotes, questions, and insights and then reflecting on them. GoldMind combines the benefits of guided journaling with the organizational strengths of a note-taking app. This means that instead of having one big pile of entries that cover every topic you’ve ever written about, you can navigate to a Topic and find everything you’ve written about it in one place. Each Topic gathers the guided exercises you perform as well as the other consequential ideas you encounter each day so that you can more effectively build on your insights and reflections.
GoldMind notes are a little different than in other note-taking apps. The “Title” field you would normally find on a note in normal apps can be used as such, but it was designed to hold whatever idea you find profound, interesting, and worthy of further thought. For any note, you can add multiple entries over time so that you can see the evolution of your thinking as you come back to build on important ideas.
Upcoming GoldMind features will soon allow you to automatically recall all of your notes for a given topic however often you want. Reviewing what you’ve written on a subject will help you gain even more from your mindful writing and idea gathering. You’ll broaden your view and perspective of your own life and build new insights on previous ideas that you otherwise wouldn’t have remembered.
